Caring for your Nullarbor Couch
Nullarbor Couch must be watered frequently until established. All lawns are delivered with a personalised watering guide to follow during establishment. Once established, Nullarbor Couch has a reasonable drought tolerance.
Watering requirements vary based on the season. During the warmer months, watering 2-3 times per week is recommended. A deep root system is essential to having a drought tolerant lawn – to promote a deep root system it is recommend to water your turf for longer periods of time. Watering frequencies should be adjusted depending on weather conditions and soil types.

Nullarbor Couch looks best when mown every 7 days at a height of approx. 20mm. Mowing lower and more frequently will produce a manicured appearance. We recommend frequent mowing to avoid scalping and build-up of thatch in your lawn.

Frequently Asked questions
All orders must be placed 2-3 days prior to delivery to ensure arrival on your preferred date. All accounts must be paid in full before the delivery will be dispatched.
Instant lawn can be laid year-round. Establishment may take longer in the cooler months when the soil temperatures drop below 20 degrees Celsius. However, pending rainfall turf will require less water to establish in Winter.
If installing in the warmer months, the turf will establish quicker due to warmer soil temperatures, however, will require more frequent watering.
Turf slabs are easier and lighter to handle and endure less stress than turf rolls, giving you a quicker and healthier establishment for your lawn. Being laid in its natural form, there is no need for top-dressing therefore saving you money on your turf project. Our slabs measure roughly 1220 x 410 mm.
