Sir Grange requires 50% less mowing than other lawns. This lawn can be mowed at a range of heights, depending on how you prefer the look of your lawn. Sir Grange loves a short mow for a manicured look, however it can also be left unmown for a lush appearance.
Watering requirements for Sir Grange Zoysia are proving to be less than other grass varieties after establishment. When establishing your new Sir Grange turf watering is essential. However, this drought tolerant lawn holds a deep green colour even in warm dry conditions. During the summer months we recommend 1 to 2 deep watering's per week. Watering your lawn for long periods allows the water to penetrate deep into the soil encouraging a deep root system. Watering requirements will vary depending on soil types and weather conditions.
Sir Grange requires much less nutrient inputs than other grasses. Fertiliser requirements are minimal, we recommend using a NKP blend fertiliser such as Lawn Solutions Premium Fertiliser twice per year, in Spring and Autumn.
